Show and Tell Friday Cross Stitch Pictures
Years ago the craft I was doing was cross stitch,I have not crossed stitched in years,but this is a set of pictures that I cross stitched.They were done back in 1988.When I saw the pattern I knew that I would have to cross stitch them.I cross stitched three pair,the set I own,a set for my good friend as a house warming present,and one set that I sold.My eyes are so off now(thats what age does for you)that I probably could not see to do this kind of work.This pair hang in my sewing room,this was something I was so proud of and it will always be here for me to admire.

Your cross stitch pictures are so pretty. I dabbled in cross stitch a few years back and was never very good at it....my sister was the one who loved it so. Seeing your post kind of makes me want to try it again! Thanks for sharing!

What treasures. I enjoyed doing cross stitching also in the 80s. I have a sewing room. Actually I call it my doll room now but it is also my sewing room.

Your cross stitch are so pretty! I have a piece never finished, took on road with me, never finished! I do have some I did finish that are larger. Jennifer loves to cross stitch, maybe one day she will finish it for me. lol Cross stitch was the first thing I learned to do, after sewing. I had no idea you cross stith. They are very sweet pic. and I do love them.
Oh, these are so pretty. I really like them alot. How wonderful that you can enjoy them and have them displayed. Cross stitch is something I'd like to learn. Is it difficult?
Very nice. I used to cross stitch also. I love looking at my work and say...boy, I used to do that pretty well. I have a bit of carpel tunnel so I haven't tried it in a while.
Your cross stitch is beautiful. I did it in the '80's also and I agree that my eyes might not be up to sross stitching now!
First let me say I love the photo in your header! It is absolutely beautiful! Second, we must be kinda connected! My show and tell is a counted cross stitch I did close to 30 years ago, and I haven't done anything in years either. I did recently teach the girls in our Keeper's at Home Club how to do counted cross-stitch though, and had to make up some samples for them. Just tiny little fall designs!
You did a lovely job on these and I for one can really appreciate them because I know how much work actually goes into them!!

You did a great job cross stitching...I have tried it bofore and gave up.
Your cross stitch work is beautiful. I do cross stitch, but have never attempted anything as detailed as your work.
I also used to love to cross stitch, but the closer I've got to 40, I'm thinking exactly what you were thinking...my eyes would never allow it now! Your pieces are stunning! And so intricately and finely stitched...wonderful work. :-)
