Today I am showing pictures of the new growth coming up in my beds,it is starting to look a little like Spring is on its way.Hope you enjoy Blooming Tuesday.
This is called Turtle something,it has a pretty purple bloom.
Peppermint plant,my grand daughter loves to eat the leaves off this plant.
New growth on my bronze rose that I planted last year.
Sedum,when in bloom the blooms are red.

Vinica is what my mom called this when she gave me a piece about 4 years ago,now it is growing every where and it stays green all year long with little flowers from now til end of summer

I have a lot of new growth too--weeds! My roses are coming back from their January pruning, and even some wildflowers have started to bloom.
I like the look of your Turtle something, and hope you show the flowers when they come.

Nice. I have peppermint, spearmint, Chocolate mint, Orange mint, lemon balm my girls eat their leaves too or put them in water to drink. I now have hope for my Cat Whiskers, thanks!!
Wow, lots of new growth in your garden Charlotte! I'm not seeing those kinds of life yet, just bulb foliage at the moment. Look forward to seeing the Turtle something plant. I have Chelone which is called the turtlehead flower and I was wondering if it is the same plant? The foliage on yours looks different though.
Isn't it exciting to see the green start to come up. Everywhere I look there is something new in my garden. I have the little "Vinca" or a similar plant but I think it is also called a periwinkle. Mine has done well over the winter although it is really small yet.

You lucky duck! We won't have any new growth up for a couple of months, but it's nice to know that elsewhere Spring is just around the corner!

I'd say you have the promise of a lot of flowers around your place pretty soon. I have a little spearmint plant. I've put it in iced tea. I never thought about eating the leaves. Sounds like a good idea.

The vincia, I had for years, been trying to get rid of it now I am trying to get it to grow! lol Since the heat on the spearmint bed is not great. But Vincia will grow there! lol Your peppermint looks better than my potted ones.Yours is been growing a little longer, my bed of peppermint looks great though. Well Terry calling, got two baby chicks, got to go fix a place for them and Mama Hen.
